Been really looking forward to seeing this launch and a massive congrats for making it happen!
I don't mind licencing costs at all but is there anything in place meaning we can dive in and try it out? Maybe a trial, for 15 days or something? We have a new eCommerce proposal going out at the end of the week and I'd love to be able to test if all the clients' requirements can be fulfilled.
Ah...found the answer as I started to read the docs! For anyone else looking for this info, you need to visit the docs and there is info at the botton of the Installation page.
Vendr is fully functional without the need of a license on localhost and .local domains allowing you to fully develop a site before making a purchase.
We also allow you to stage the site on certain domains such as *.umbraco.io if your are using cloud, or *.azurewebsites.net if you are using Azure.
You can even host the site on the final domain, but you will be limited to a maximum of 20 orders.
Ultimately, you should have enough flexibility to be able to develop and test your site without needing to purchase a license, only needing to do so when you are ready to go live.
I hope this answers your question and means you can start your development without an issue.
If you have any other questions though, just ask 👍
