Having cloned the repo, and appropriately set the Web project as the startup project, I can launch the demo-store just fine. However, when I log into the back office, most of the page's content does not load, and the console gets quite a few errors shown below.
Are you logged into another Umbraco back office in some other tab by any chance? I see this usually when this is the case. I believe it’s an Umbraco issue.

Thanks for that bit of advice. In a private window/tab, the back office loads just fine.
