I thought I noticed this in a test setup I had recently to fix another bug. I believe this is a core permissions issue though. It should be entirely possible to have access to only the commerce section, but I believe something in core isn't liking it.
First, thank you for a quick (as always) response. H5YR! :)
I forgot to mention that I have updated to the latest version 1.3.2 (I've seen the bug You mentioned on issue tracker). Without the upgrade, access to Commerce section was broken - the user couldn't list the orders.
Hmm, I've just created a test user on https://try.vendr.net and initially it wouldn't let me in, but then I set the users start content node / media node (still didn't give them access to the content / media sections) and that seemed to work for me.
If you log into the demo store at the URL above with [email protected] / @>3jE$=TW{ (these will only be valid for 24 hours), you can see that user only has access to the commerce section.
Access only to Commerce section
Hi,
Is it possible to give a user access only to Commerce section? No Content, no Media, just Commerce?
I tried this:
but user is either being logged out immediately or can se an "empty" Umbraco backend:
It's working fine when the user has also access to the Content.
Or am I doing something wrong?
Regards
Tomasz

I think this would need to be raised on the core issue tracker https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues

I create an issue ASAP.

Hey Matt,
Yes, it does!
So I think i will not create an issue then, as we have the solution.
Thanks for help!

No problem. At least we have a workaround for the time being.
