Just wondering what actions (e.g. finalise etc) trigger a order status change.
Is there a page in the docs that specifies when the system will change an order's status?
For example, one customer has said some orders appear as new then "..at some point they are automatically changed to completed.". I think they are mistaking and the order status is updated to 'Completed' when the order is finalised - please correct me if I'm wrong.
So to pre-empt their next question/request, they don't want orders to be 'Completed' automatically or at least not that status. Maybe 'Paid' or maybe to remain as 'New'. They want to make sure someone sees the order and can respond accordingly. Only after they've satisfied some requirement, manually update the order to 'Completed'.
OTB the only order statuses that are "automatic" in Vendr are the new status and the error status so there is nothing that moves an order to "Completed". These are all managed manually, unless someone writes and event handler to perform this move automatically.
