    Update issue

    Vendr Support
    Umbraco 8

    Hi Matt,

    Trying to update to the latest version and getting the following error, any advice?

    Error       Unable to resolve dependencies. 'Vendr.Core 2.1.0' is not compatible with 'Vendr.Core.Web 1.8.6 constraint: Vendr.Core (= 1.8.6)'.

    Yea, when upgrading from v1 to v2 it seems to work best when you uninstall v1 and then install v2. NuGet doesn’t seem to like the fact the Vendr.Core.Web project no longer exists.

    Wow - that was a lot harder than I had hoped! Ended up having to remove vendr, payment provider and checkout.

    All seems to be working now on the latest version, apart from checkout, when I go to install it from the backoffice I get the error below, if you have any guidance/advice on what might be causing it?

    Hmmm, I'm not entirely sure, unless it's failing to bind the GuidUdi 🤔

    Strange indeed, I got it working but not sure how or what was different. In case anyone else gets this issue.

    • I removed vendr, including payment providers and checkout
    • Installed latest version of vendr, payment provider and checkout
    • Logged into Umbraco and checked everything worked ok, found I had a problem with the install of checkout
    • Changed the database to a backup of before I upgraded Vendr
    • Rebuilt, logged into Umbraco and made sure all migrations/vendr working
    • Vendr was working fine so I then did the checkout install again which worked

    Side note, I do now have an issue with my custom OrderLineCalculator when I visit the new cart page, seems to be an overflow issue which I am debugging.
