I just upgraded from xslt search 2.5 to 3.1 by installing the package over the top and overwriting the appropriate files. The search works, but there is a problem where it lists all your past searches. Here is what happens:
Go to search page
Type search in text box, e.g. "umbraco"
Hit enter
See search results and text box at top of page says "umbraco"
Change text in textbox from "umbraco" to "ava" and hit enter
Page loads and textbox says "umbraco, ava" and shows results for "umbraco, ava" instead of just "ava"
I think it's caused by having two search boxes (one at bottom of results, one on top) with the same name. It's probably combining both of them when the Search button is clicked. As a workaround you could change the macro parameter searchBoxLocation to just TOP.
