    Cannot uninstall XSLTSearch 3.0.5 version

    XSLTsearch Bugs

    The bug is found in Umbraco 6.1.6 and XSLTSearch 3.0.5 version. The 'uninstall' button is not working and I cannot install XSLT.

    Hi, Mira,

    Thanks for the bug report. I'll look into what's wrong with Umbraco 6.1.6 that the uninstall button isn't working. It has in the past so the may be a new Umbraco bug.

    To manually uninstall XSLTsearch, you'll want to do the following:

    1. In the CONTENT section of the Umbraco back office UI, delete the 'Search' page
    2. In the SETTINGS section, delete the 'XSLTsearch' Document Type
    3. In the SETTINGS section, delete the 'XSLTsearch' Template
    4. In the DEVELOPER section, delete the 'XSLTsearch.xslt' file from XSLT Files
    5. In the DEVELOPER section, delete the 'XSLTsearch' Macro
    6. Finally, delete the 'xsltsearch.cs' file from the /app_code folder of your site's filesystem
