Sorry for the late ... late late reply!! This package hasnt been very active because of the relatively low download rates.
This issue is currently considered a bug and to be honest I don't know when I will find the time to get around to fixing it. For the mean time if anybody else needs this bug to be solved please post on this thread.
As a temporary solution you can use CSS to hide the download link:

I am using the package in order to display youtube videos in my text areas.
A donload link with "download this video here" caption is added by default, although I didn't add any download text or download link.
Is there a way to cancel it?
