There is a DEWD 2.0 beta, but I don't think it has ever been released as a final version. It's also been a while since it was last updated. Would be good if DEWD 2.0 could be upgraded to support v7.

DEWD 2.0 will be upgraded to support v7 and there's UI improvements planned to go along with it. Have been have bit hesitant to upgrade before 7 was fairly stable (api-wise), but it looks like we're there. I'll put a tweet out, when there's something stable enough to test.
Umbraco 7 + Dewd
Is there any plans for adding Umbraco 7 support to Dewd?
This module is realy great, and have saved me a lot of time!

What is the status of DEWD 2.0 and Umbraco 7? 7.1 is almost out and it's really stable. This would be a killer package for v7.

How drop down list will be populated using DEWD 2.1 with umbraco 7.2.x
Hate to badger but DEWD for 7 is going to be a pressing need for me as well. Any updates?

I'm interested in using this for an Umbraco v7 project too.

Is there any way to specify a different connection string for a UI-O-Matic model?
Im thinking as its using petapoco umbraco one it will only talk to tables in the umbraco db?

@Robert yeah you can specify a connectionstring name on the uimatic attribute
So this would point it to the northwind db (if you have a conn string with that name)
