I am a big fan of the list view on a document type, but unfortunatelly it doesn't work exaclty as I had expected. Basically, I want to create a page, which can contain a number of different content modules. This is an ideal use case for the list view, because the content is "on the page", so to speak.
However, I also want to create subpages, but I don't want them to appear in the list view, but in the traditional content tree – as it will be a new and separate page.
In this way, it will be easier for the content manager to get an overview of the site, and differentiate between individual pages, and the content they hold.
Is there a way to make this possible in Umbraco 7?
I haven´t find any feature request on the issue tracker for this. So I think that they have forgot to create a feature request on the issue tracker. You could create a feature request on the issue tracker for this feature. http://issues.umbraco.org/
