I have a fresh install of Umbraco Forms in the latest version of Umbraco and oddly whenever I click any of the trash icons they simply shift slightly and I do not get the check or x mark to complete the delete action. Short answer is you can either wait till the 8.8.1 release for the fix, or you can temporarily update your view at App_Plugins/UmbracoForms/Directives/umb-forms-designer-new.html according to the post above to fix the issue now ( although you will need to revert this change once you upgrade to 8.8.1 )

This is due to a compatibility issue between v8.8.0 of Umbraco and the latest Umbraco Forms, which we also ran into.
