Nested templates tree structure lost when installing a package
Hi.
I noticed that every time I create and install a package, the templates are installed but the tree structure is lost. I have my Master template as the parent to all my other templates but when the package is imported they are all displayed in a single flat level. is this a bug or something I missed when creating/importing the package?
Thanks in advanced
I would also like to know how to automatically generate the Master template configured within the package.xml file when generating via the UI so we do not need to manually perform this every time.

I am experiencing the same issue - the export does not appear to indicate what the Master template is!?
I read you need the < Master > node to define this ( refer https://our.umbraco.com/forum/developing-packages/85382-created-package-doesnt-set-the-master-template#comment-288637 ). This worked however I found you "cannot use spaces" in the template names or this will not work.

I have raised a github request here. https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues/9639
is working on a reply...
