    Boot Failed error on Azure

    Using Umbraco And Getting Started
    Umbraco 8

    Hi,

    My site was running on Azure. I have deployed codeshare starter kit on existing site. After that, the site (front end and back-end) is not accessible and giving error "Umbraco failed to boot, if you are the owner of the website please see the log file for more details."

    Any clue on how to fix the error ?

    Hi,

    Is there a more detailed error in the log files? You can find them in app_data/Logs.

    Hi,

    I am able to resolve the issue. The error was related duplicate route for surface controller. I have removed corresponding dll, everything was perfect.

    I had the same problem today and this is how I fixed it - it was a connection string error.
