When I edit a template and move the cursor either by the mouse or arrow keys, it jumps randomly :( I guess this is some "cool feature" but is it possible to disable all this fancy stuff?
I am not aware of any options to turn this view off, I've just checked the web.config and /config/umbracosettings.config but I see no key that seem related to this either.
But it would be interesting to know what browser and OS you're using. Have you tried a different browser?
Well, 4.1 is not a real version, it was at best a release candidate but felt more like a beta. You should really upgrade to 4.5, in the latest version the editor has been improved a lot.

Selecting a line of text in this template editor is a pain :(
