    Runway jCarousel Question

    Hi,

I installed the jCarousel package for my website. The problem that Im having is, how can I make the images display on my existing Homepage? I can make it work on a seperate page but cannot when I put it on the homepage. Here is the strucuture of the website:

    Content
      -Home
         - - Slideshow Item 1
         - - Slideshow Item 2
         - - MODEL Line Up
         - - Special Offers
         - - Dealers
      -jCarousel
        - - Slideshow Item 1
        - - Slideshow Item 2

How can I make Slideshow Item 1 and 2 to appear on my homepage?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Harry

Hi again. I was able to make it work by adding the properties of the jCarousel Document Type, to my Home Document Type and using the default xslt macros. However, when it reaches the last item for the slideshow, the design gets destroyed. Below are some screenshots:

    1. Before reaching the last slideshow item.

    2. When all of the slideshow images has been displayed already. The contents below the slideshow disappears.

I dont know where to start troubleshooting this issue. Need your help guys.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Harry

    Hi Umbraco People,

For other parties that is having the same problem, I think I was able to find the solution. Whenever you add an image to the jCarousel it gives you an option to add a title and a little description about the image. When you dont put anything there that is when the problem occurs.

I just removed the description area from the datatype and xslt and I'm good.

    Great Package. Thanks! :D
