Hello Umbracians
I removed 'audti trail' from the user permissions and republished the nodes, but it is still in the context menu...
How can I remove 'notifications' from the context menu? It is not an assignable permission.
Were using umbraco 4.0.4.2
HI,
I'm pretty sure you need to write some code to achieve this. I've written a few examples last year one of them is how to add a menu item, but you can use the same mechanism to remove a menu item. It's example 3 of this WIKI
Only use the remove method instead of insert.
Hope this helps you,
Richard
Hi,
Thanks for your answer Richard.
Why is 'audit trail' an assignable permission? When I uncheck 'audit trail' in the user permission is it still in the context menu.
Calvin
Could be that it's a default tree Item. I don't know.
Is there any bug fix (from the core team)?
A solution would be very nice...
Did the user logout and back in? I find some of these items are cached during the login period.
The user logged out and back in for more than one time.
is working on a reply...
