    Restructure Document Types Tree

I currently have my document types structured like so:

    Games Master
    -Games Homepage
    -Default Game
    -Specialized Game

I'd like to restructure that so all child pages are nested a level deeper:

    Games Master
    -Games Homepage
    -Games Children
    --Default Game
    --Specialized Game

I can't seem to move "Default Game" and "Specialized Game" under the "Games Children" document type. I was able to drag/drop them to move them, but when I reload nodes for the document types they appear in their old position (i.e., below "Games Master"). Is this a known bug? Is there another way to do this?

    Hi Nicholas,

on the 'Games Children' document type, did you allow 'Default Game' and 'Specialized Game' document types to be children of it on the structure tab?

Another way of moving your nodes is by right clicking on it, selecting 'move' from the context menu and then in the popup window the target node which will be the parent of the node after the move.

    Hope that helps,
    Sascha

    Hi Sascha,

I don't want to restructure the content tree. I want to restructure the document types tree.

    Hi Nick,

sorry for my misunderstanding. Unfortunately you can't re-arrange doc types to my knowledge - you might want to give Matt's Doc Type Extension a go, I think you can move your doc types around with it. Otherwise I'm afraid you'd have to do that manually. :(

    Sascha
