    Choose Media Datatype

I'm trying to use the 'Choose Media' datatype, with the advanced option enabled which allows you to create a media item at the time of selecting when editing the doctype.

However, the Save button is only enabled if the file you are uploading is an image type. I'm trying to use this to allow the user to upload a PDF file, and the save button is not enabled.

    Any thoughts?

This is currently not supported. I'm working on an advanced media picker which does support this, but it's still in early development. I'll let you know when it's finished.

Surely its just a matter of finding where in the code it checks filetype and altering. Will have a look when I get some spare time.

That's also possible, but there are some more features I'm missing:

    - You can not create folders in the 'create new' tab.
    - You can not upload other files beside images.
    - Preview only works if an image is selected

Beside this I'm implementing some other cool new features but those are still a secret ;).
