    Umbraco browser variances seems to defy logic

    Greetings Friendly Umbraco Community!

    Building my first site in Umbraco, the home page defiantly left aligns in IE7/8 and centers as it should in FF3 and Chrome5.

    The Umbraco page is http://168.215.185.177/rqhome.aspx and for comparison, a xhtml/css version is up at http://168.215.185.177/1.html. ;

    The non-Umbraco version aligns centered as desired in all test browsers.  The Umbraco version centers in all test browsers except IE.

    Both rendered pages validate xhtml and css and source code appears to be exactly the same.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    This one isn't a umbraco issue but a implementation issue.

    Take out your comment in the master file <!--start goes on RQMaster.master 1 -->
    This is throwing the browser into quirks mode which is most likely causing your issue.
