just came across the following problem while working on a French site: when I right click on a node and select 'Create', I cannot create a child node if the parent node I'm trying to create the new node under has special characters in its name (ie. éèà). This is only the case in Internet Explorer: the Create modal window pops up with a generic connection error. If the parent nodename does not have special characters, all is well.
Works fine in FF, Safari, Chrome. But of course most clients use IE at the office.
