    Moving folder's contents

    Hi Everyone,

    I need to change a page I've got to use a different document type. I know that to do this I will have to re-create the page. The problem I have though is that it is a parent page has has about 50 child nodes.

    Is there any way to create a new page, then select all the child nodes and move them all at once? It seems like an awful lot of work to right click every node and select move, then browse to the folder.

    Hi Tom,

    As far as I'm aware, there isn't a bulk document mover. It would need to be a manual process. :-(

    However you should take a look at Matt's Doc Type Extensions package:

    http://our.umbraco.org/projects/developer-tools/doc-type-extensions

    There might be a way of swapping the Master doc-type of the page?
