I'm sorry if someone has already asked this question but I can't seem to find a place where you guys discuss about how to build a report in Umbraco or use some Umbraco's built-in report to display stuffs.
I want to build a simple report but my db source isn't in Umbraco. What is the best/suggest practice for this ? And while we're at the subject, how does one build a report base on Umbraco content ?
I haven't a clue, just google for asp.net reporting I suppose. It's all depending on what kind of report you want with which data. And umbraco data is most easily available in xml format, so have a look for asp.net xml reporting...

Are you referring to umbracoStats? It was discontinued in version 4 in favor of just using Google Analytics (and the excellent Google Analytics package).
