    Reset custom user permissions

    UI Questions

    I have a user with user type of "Editor".

    I customized that user's permissions by selecting the user name under "User permissions".

    Now I want to reset them back to all the default settings that the user type of editor has. I tried changing the user type to a different type, saved it and then changed it back to editor thinking it might overwrite the custom permissions, but it didn't.

    How do I do this?

    I have the same question about this. I need to be able to return a user of type "editor" back to the defualt settings for that user type. In other words, remove any User Permissions overrides.  

    In addition when using the User Permissions feature of the Users section, why doesn't the User Permission's tree show the current settings for that user?

    Is this a bug or is this something that is not allowed in 4.7.2?
