Create member without name and login

When I create a new member I get this box

Can I chance this box so I only have the 2 fields "Name" and "Choose Member Type"?

    Hi Kate,

The quick answer is no, you can't remove the Login, Email and Password fields from the dialog box.

The longer answer is, yes - you could - either by hacking the core (very much NOT recommended) or by re-producing the members appTree with a custom appTree... but again, I wouldn't recommend this either!

The main reason being that the members database (and API) expect values for those fields.

Why would you not want to have a username/password for a member? (I can understand why no email).

    Cheers, Lee.

If you want to use the member tree for holding subscribers to a newsletter, I can see why you wouldn't no need a username and password, but other than that...
