Default/first item in Create node document types dropdown

    Hi

I can't find any documentation that explains how to order items in the document types dropdown list on the create node overlay.

I really just want to promote 1 item to the top of the list not really manage the order fully. I'd also like to avoid alphabetically naming the document types as well as I don't believe this would be helpful for users.

    Any one any ideas?

    Cheers

    Jon

    They are alphabetical.

Use a space (which won't display but will force an entry to the top of the list), or an underscore or other character to move an item to the top of the list and become the 'default' item.

Using the 'structure' tab you can often narrow the list down to only a few (and sometimes only one) choice.

    cheers,
    doug.

Cool. I had thought about using spaces but not tried it.

    Cheers :)

Do be careful about using spaces in the alias name, though. Best practice is no spaces in alias names... just makes life easier.

    cheers,
