    trying to install an RTL language to be used in the back-end

    Hi,

    I am really new to Umbraco, in the learning process. The first thing i wanted to do was to make Persian language available in User > Language drop-down so that i could set it up for the back-end user. I tried searching around and found few references such as http://umbraco.org/documentation/books/multilingual-11-sites and http://umbraco.org/documentation/language-files which now they are unavailable.

    So i tried to do something with whatever information i had gathered, but unfortunately didn't work and now I`m pretty stuck. Here is what I did.

    I copied the se.xml from umbraco/config/lang and saved it as fa.xml and in the xml file I just changed a few following lines:

    <language alias="fa" intName="Persian (Iran)" localName="Persian" lcid="980" culture="fa">

    <key alias="sections"></key>

     <key alias="dashboard"></key>

     <key alias="tree"></key>

    <key alias="language"></key>

    I was expecting too see Persian language in the User > Language drop-down list.

    Any help or direction I will greatly appreciate.
