I want to implemet a real estate site like http://www.makaan.com/ in Umbraco. I am new to Umbraco, is this possible in it. How much developer effort and customization required.
Yes it is possible to build a real-estate website in Umbraco. In terms of how much effort? Impossible to say, all depends on your development team, experience of Umbraco and ASP.NET in general. Given that you are new to Umbraco, you'd want to get up to speed with the concepts as quickly as possible - invest in an umbraco.tv subscription for a start!
However if you are looking for a solution to build a real-estate (or property management) website, then I'd suggest that you take a look at AgenCMS.
AgenCMS isn't free... but often there's a weigh-up between paying for a ready-made solution, or to develop it in-house. Umbraco is an excellent framework/platform to base your real-estate website on, but comes with a slight learning curve.

Not sure on the cost, but it might save you valuable development time!

Hi Anees,
AgenCMS isn't free... but often there's a weigh-up between paying for a ready-made solution, or to develop it in-house. Umbraco is an excellent framework/platform to base your real-estate website on, but comes with a slight learning curve.
Best of luck with your project.
