    Template Folder Won't Open in UI

    My Template Folder has stopped working--it will not open.  In Settings, everything else works. The folders open and the files are accessible. Everything but Templates.  All of the templates do exist in the masterpages folder, I just can't get to them anymore from the UI.

    If I try to create a new template, I do get the dialog that asks for the new name. I enter a name and click create.

    Then, I get what is one of our custom error pages. It is custom 404 error page sitting inside of the Create dialog box.

    Any ideas are much appreciated!  Thanks!

    Hi I think you need to check, double and triple check the Security settings on that folder, Make sure the user NetworkService had modify rights on that folder.

    I have checked Security several times. The permissions are exactly the same as those enabled for a folder that works (like css) including Network Service.

     

    But, it still does not work.

    UPDATE: I did notice that the Document Types folder will open but the files listed there just show the same custom 404 page in the main window.
