    content editor

Everytime I enter html directly to the content editor and then publish it, the next time around I hit html to edit, all the texts/contents are all jumbled up.

Is there a way to preserve formatting on this? I'd like to see the text/html spacing and everything stays the same. Sometimes there's some contents that needs to be updated, and it's easier to edit it directly in html instead of using wysiwyg editor.

    Hi Chris

It's probably because that the HTML you're writing is not allowed there either because of tidy cleaning it up or because it's prohibited to enter in the rich text editor.

You can disable tidy in the umbracosettings.config file or you can play around with the tinymceeditor.config file, to see what elements and attributes are allowed etc.

I'm going to try to set tidy to False. as for the HTML content, it's standard html, basic html, nothing complicated.
