Hi, I am using Umbraco 4.5.2 and am on a shared server with IIS 7.0.
When I save and publish my home page after editing it, for some reason, the home page
changes. It doesn't show up at 'mysite.org' like it should.
Instead, it shows some other page. I looked into umbraco.config
and a different node was at the top, right below '<root id="-1">'
I can fix it by going into the umbraco.config file and moving the node that contains the home page and
putting it back at the top, but I don't believe I should have to do that every time I edit my home page. I'd like any
ideas about how I can stop this from happening. Thanks.
nm,
I figured out the problem.
There were duplicate nodes in umbraco.config. One copy was named <node...
and the other was named <insertnameofnodehere...
I deleted the duplicates and republished.
