How do I use Umbraco to create a website with a lot of content?

I'm just getting started using umbraco to create my personal website / online portfolio. So far I like the UI of the admin panel yet I'd like to know how it is suppose to work if I have a site with a large number of "posts" like a blog or forum? It doesn't seem fesible to show every blog post or forum post in the content tree? Will each post be a seperate pages on the site or is there some other mechanism for storing content like this?

Have a look at the Blog 4 Umbraco package in the Projects section, that has an example of how to do that. You can use the autofolders extension from the projects area to automatically sort things like blog posts into date folders. I use it a lot for sites with large news sections!

    :)
