If you right click a node you have the ability to manage domain names for the node, that means if you right click a node you can say that this node should be hit if the url is http://mysite.co.uk and select a different node and you can say that node should get hit by http://mysite.com
Language in Umbraco
I have a running webpage (latest version of Umbraco).
Now i need to have a UK version also.
What is the right way/possibuilities to do that in Umbraco?
The new UK page is not a copy of the danish one, it needs its oun "life"....
But it would be nice if i could use some of the same templates...
My idea is to create small flags that changes the language (nothing auto....)
And how can i manage the url's?
Can i create a subdomain to the uk page like: uk.xxx.dk
Or is it better to use a subfolder url like: xxx.dk/uk/
If you right click a node you have the ability to manage domain names for the node, that means if you right click a node you can say that this node should be hit if the url is http://mysite.co.uk and select a different node and you can say that node should get hit by http://mysite.com
This also means that you can have this structure
Mysite.com (Node 1 -> hostname www.mysite.com)
> Subnodes (site strukture)
Mysite.co.uk(Node 2 -> hostname www.mysite.co.uk)
> Subnodes (site strukture)
cool, tak ;-)
is working on a reply...
