I keep running into these great umbraco packages through google that I wish I knew about months ago.
Is there a way to list the projects by view count or rating? I see there is a top 10 view but couldn't we do better than then? Maybe I'm missing something.
So my biggest gripe is that it's hard to discover great packages.
That's good to know. I would also like to see all the packages someone has submitted. Sometimes I like a package from someone and want to discover what else they have done. I can link their name in the forum post, but not in the package directory :(.
Seems like there was a decision about this request and the stuff above not to have it on the site. I'm sure you umbraco ninjas could do these request in a couple hours.
Jonas Eriksson tweeted last week that he's created a sorted table (screen scraping via Html Agility pack) of all the Umbraco projects with names, downloads and votes - I wonder if this is something that could be added to the WIKI as a temporary solution ?
Ah, yes, I put it out today if there's interest in it. :-) A very temporary solution for sure - until the package section att our. gets some more search / browsing features.

In the Umbraco back office are all the packages which have received at least 15 votes.

Can you shed any light on this Slace?
Upper right hand side of a package page links to the users profile and that links to a page which has their full package list on it.
I can't shed any light on the decisions regarding this forum, I'm not involved with its development.
