Office 2007 as Rich Text Editor

I can't seem to find information about how to use Office as the rich text editor for body content.  I find reference to using it for blogging.  Is it the same or similar to setup?  Is using Office optional or do we configure it over TinyMCE?

Not sure if Word could be used as a rich text editor, but you can use Windows Live Writer, although for one single document type only. Here's how you would configure Umbraco to work with windows live writer

Not exactly what we were looking for, but interesting.

    Hi,

Yes it's possible. Check out my answer on this very old forum thread http://forum.umbraco.org/yaf_postst5595_Using-Word-for-editing.aspx

    Cheers,

    Richard

Well... yeah, I did get it to work, but that's pretty thin.  I don't consider that as a way to use Word for editing content.  It's fine for starting a page since it's only one way.  But, you have to set it up for each user, which is about 50+ users here, and then you can only set it up for a single doc type.

    Thanks anyway.
