I'm using an installation of 4.5.2 for a network of sites stuctured like this:
Content - Network homepage (with content pages beneath) - Sites type A - Site 1 homepage (with content pages beneath) - Site 2 homepage (with content pages beneath) - Sites type B
- Site 3 homepage (with content pages beneath)
- Site 4 homepage (with content pages beneath)
I have setup hostnames for the network homepage and each of the site homepages. The domain for say the Site 1 homepage maps correctly to the right place. However, when following links in the rich text editor or the dropdown navigation on the site to any content pages beneath, the url retains the site 1 domain but takes the rest of the path all the way back from the network homepage level. i.e site1.com/typeA/site1homepage/contenta.aspx.
This seems rather messy, though it works. Is there a better way, so that navigating in site1 gives urls like site1.com/contenta.aspx?
I do, however, need to keep the navigation from the top level, ie network.com/typeA/site1homepage/contenta.aspx.
Domains at different levels in same structure
