    Can't delete a member type

I have two member types "WebsiteUser" and "Sitemember".

I cannot remove the WebsiteUser object. Its says deleting but never does.

    Can I delete this manually?

    Hi Streety

Are there any of the created members that has the WebsiteUser as their member type? If so, could you try changing that, so there's no member wth that member type and try to delete it again?

    /Kim A

    Hi Streety

Are you sure there is not a permission issue then?

    HI Kim,

No, no users associated with this object.

    Hi Jan,

A permissions issue? Which permission is this then?

There are no properties associated so no permissions.

Could I manually remove the object from the database? Which table is it kept in?

    Thanks for your comments.

    Hi Streety

Yeah, I'm thinking if the network service and iusr are not having the correct permissions the delete dialog in Umbraco won't work. But I'm not 100% sure. But try giving full access for the Umbraco root folder (the folder containing your whole installation).

    Hope this makes sense.

    /Jan
