I´ve got some different links on different positions which should be named different. This could be easilly done via the integrated dictonary.
But how can i set different urls for different languages:
So for example I have a "create account" links which should go to:
/uk/create-account.aspx in englisch /de/jetzt-anmeldden.aspx in german
Also it should change everytime I rename "create-account.aspx" via content manager so I think i have to use ID instead of any name. But the question is how can i put this id and the corresponding dictonary Item inside my template file
What does your site structure look like inside Umbraco? And are you trying to get the "create account" for the german site created and translated automatically when you create the english version?
I have some links directly inside the template file which should be translated. This is easy to handle with the dictonary.
But the links are a little bit harder to translate. For example the "create-account.aspx" link should be named in germany "jetzt-anmelden.aspx". It could also happen that some other person rename this link
So how can I handle this inside Umbraco:
My current solution:
I put some propterties to the root folder named "Create Account link" (Type Content Picker) and included this inside the template so everytime I translate the site url it works.
Just want to know if there is a better solution for it
Best way to translate links inside template
