You can sort the tabs when you create the document types using numerical values. Let's say that you have a tab on your master doc type that you want to be the last of your tabs. Then you can just give this tab a big number like 100 or something like that.
The property-tab will be shown as the last one though.
With Kim's suggestion the name of the tab will stay the same. On the Tabs tab of a Document Type there is a property for the Sort Order next to each tab. You can just put a large number next to the ones you want to appear at the end. You don't need to change the name of the actual tabs.
Doctype sort tabs with master doctype
Hello,
how can i sort tabs if i use also tabs in master doctype?
So if I add a tab in the doctype that corresponds to master doctype it is included anywhere inside the mastertabs but not at the end for example
I use Umbraco 4.5

yes but i have to show a name to the user so they know on which tab they have to click.
I think with your solution they are named "1", "2" etc.?
Hmm.... Couldn't you just name the tabs "1 - Content", "2 - Graphic" etc. then?
