Is it possible to add an authorization element to web.config, for the \media folder (or others) for general media protection? Just something simple like <allow users="?"/><deny users="*"/> to make sure people are logged in before they can download media.
I tried it, but everything i try simply doesnt work. I've scoured this forum and i'm surprised i havent found anyone else asking this question before...
This doesn't work. I have build a package that can protect media in the same way you protect document nodes. It is already finished only working on the manual and screencast. Will be a commercial add on though. I can send you a package that you can run on localhost if you like, If you are interested send me an email richard[at]soetemansoftware.nl
