    Media Type Rich Text Editor error

    Hello,

    Everytime i choose "Richtext Editor" as property i get the following error:

    No Document exists with Version

    If i select Simple Editor instead it works.

    I need the Richtext editor

     

    Is there any solution for it?

    You are using version 4.5.2 right?  I believe this is a bug that was fixed in a later version.  The issue on codeplex is still marked as open but I think it was related to the same issue with adding TinyMCE to member types that is now closed.  I just tested on 4.7 and it seems to work.

    so now i have two reasons to upgrad to version 4.7 - is there anything which will not work after upgradt from 4.5 to 4.7?

    otherwise i will try to upgrade

    The upgrade from 4.5 to 4.7 should be very smooth and unless I'm mistaken there are no breaking changes.

    As always, remember to back up etc. and try this on your local version first before upgrading your live site.
