Set default value for true/false property

Is there a way to set a property (true/false parameter) default to checked (1)?

rename your property :p

we always name our property so our default value should be false..

like umbracoNaviHide to hide from navigation.

I got the property on more than one type so renaming is not a good solution :-)

I just want to set this default "checked" for one of the types - is there no possibility for it?

Not with the built in True/False datatype. But there is a datatype in uComponents called ToggleBox that allows you to set a default value (on/off) that you could use alternatively.

check out the 'Standard Values' package - it lets you set default text etc, including tickbox states for any document type.

http://our.umbraco.org/projects/developer-tools/standard-values-in-umbraco

works with previous/ lastest versions
