I am trying to create a news list which displays the existing news items to the users and also allows users to add their own news item. I want to know if there is a built-in support to create a list item ( just like "New Item" tab that appears on a sharepoint list) or we need to add a new web form for the same.
It will be great if anybody can point me to an umbraco site where such functionality is already implemented :)
Thanks for the quick response. I think Doc2Form can help me accomplish what I want to. However, I am not able to use it properly.
I have added Doc2Form macro and have initialized all its relevant properties. However, when I view the form in browser it displays only a submit button.
Can you please point me to some documentation which explains how to use Doc2Form.

Hi Siddharth,
Do you need frontend visitors to add new news items? If so, have a look at Doc2Form at http://codeplex.com/umbracoext
Doc2Form enables to rapidly build input forms based on document types you have in the admin backend.
