Links in richtext editor are relative, can I make this absolute when inserted?

Is it possible to make the links absolute when inserting one with the contentpicker in the Richt Text Editor?

    Hi Mike

Could you ellaborate a bit more on your question?

Do you think about styling them with an absolute position in CSS when they're inserted?

No, what i have an RSS feed and links inserted in the content are now relative in this feed. For example:  /pagename.aspx instead of http://domainname.com/pagename.aspx

    thanks
