I'm not sure if this belongs to the UI or the Packages Category, sorry if I got it wrong.
Case is in Umbraco 3.0.6. I imported about 170 member records via small routine based on something I found on the forum (sorry, forgot the link now). I've found the imported names, logins, passwords and emails in the appropriate tables. So all's in place.
Then I used Kalle Wibeck's MemberControls 0.4 unofficial - Manual installation member package version to place login and password reminder macros in my login template.
Now the strange thing is that the passwords are not recognized when I try to login via this form. I've tried a whole bunch of them. But if I use the password reminder to mail myself the registered password, it returns the original password (of course) - and AFTER THAT I can log in...
Anyone know why this happens?
Do I have to ask all 170 to remind themselves of the password they already know? Or do I write I new routine to update the passwords somehow? :-k
