I've installed Umbraco v4 in my machine at work to try and built some websites but I'm facing something strange.
I installed with Runaway Homepage, and at first the UI was ok, working fine. But now I think some options that in the first time were visible in the bottom left corner (allowing to go to Design, Development, Content, and etc) is missing!
What you describe sounds like the User in umbraco no longer has access to those sections. This is configurable.
Being sure you're logged in as an administrator in umbraco, go to the Users section (bottom-left corner) and be sure the various sections/modules are selected for each user.

You stand correct. I confused the logins and didn't log with adminstrator login. Strangely I don't remember creating anymore users.
