User can't access recycle bin when assigned to a level 1 start node
Hi,
I have just created a website with Umbraco that "hosts" two websites for a company. A Danish and a Swedish one. Everything works fine and I have created different users to work on the two different websites. The user has either the Danish or the Swedish website as their "Start node". Here comes trouble...
Since the websites are level 1 nodes and so is the Recycle Bin the users can't access it via the content tree.
No one has probably ran into it, or doesn't really care. I'd add a work item on Codeplex and vote for it. Add a repro path so the core team may check and decide whether to get it resolved for a next version.
I'm surprised that this issue doesn't affect more users. I'm guessing that most installs are simply running one website or that the multiple websites are all maintained by the same person.
I'm guessing it's not implemented as the recycle bin is global to Umbraco and not following user access rules (not a good thing in itself)

No one?

Excellent. Thanks.

There are only 2 votes on codeplex for this issue http://umbraco.codeplex.com/workitem/27983
So I'm interested on how people get around this issue?
Many thanks
