I have a podcast with mp3s and I've found that iTunes on the Mac can't handle filenames with spaces in them. Some of my mp3s have spaces in their filenames. I need to change the filenames of the mp3s which have spaces.
Is there a way that I can do this from within umbraco? I will need to 1) change the actual filenames of the mp3s and then also 2) change the names in the database that umbraco uses.
Rename file names on the server for podcasts

Sorry I dont fully understand what you are trying to do here?
Have you uploaded MP3s into your content tree of Umbraco?!
Can you give us some more detailed info about this please.
Thanks,
Warren
if i understand right. You want a way to turn
"my new podcast.mp3" into "mynewpodcast.mp3"
think you could use action hander for this.
http://umbraco.org/documentation/books/creating-and-using-an-action-handler
ie the user upload the files. The IActionHandler is called where you can amend the files name that is published.
