    Permissions in documenttype fields

    Is it possible to set permissions in document types and in their field. For example "Date" field would be read-only to role X?

    There isn't really any built in way to achieve this that I know of, but you could check out the Axendo Disabled Properties package, which hides properties to certain usertypes.
