One of our users created pages in Umbraco, published said pages, changed his mind and deleted the pages (I don't think he un-published first) and though the pages don't appear in Content links to the deleted pages still show up in a sitemap or in XSLTSearch results.
Can anyone help me make these deleted pages go away?
I"d try republishing entire site... Right-click any top level content node and select "Publish". Make sure to also check "Publish {page} and all its subpages".
On top of that, also right-click Content node and choose "Republish entire site".
Both actions ensure that the umbraco.config xml cache will be rewritten and refreshed.
Deleted pages still accessible

Thanks Dirk, that did the trick! I had published my home and all sub-pages, but the deleted pages were still there. Doing a "republish site" fixed it.
is working on a reply...
