    umbracoUrlAlias and url rewrite

    Does umbracoUrlAlias work when you have urlrewrites setup?

    I have 2 sites one that has no url rewrites and I am using umbracoUrlAlias setup as per Dirk's excellent post all works fine.

    I have a second site that has some url rewrite rules, when i try to use umbracoUrlAlias i just get page not found. The umbracoUrlAlias url that i am using does not match any of the reg ex's in url re write rules.

    Hi,

     

    An old post, and I am not sure if I have the same problem.

    I have a page: "/apage/subpage"
    This page as an umbracoUrlAlias: "thepage"

    And i have a urlrewrite "anotherpage/sometext/1234"   that points to "thepage?id=1234", but it does not seem to work.

    The umbracoUrlAlias path and the original path i can browse, the rewrite gives a 404.

    (Umbraco 4.61)

    Any ideas?
